We recently stayed in a traditional Japanese-style room and were blown away by how spacious and comfortable it was. the hotel's location is fantastic, right in the heart of the city center, just a short tram ride from main attractions or iconic restaurants and cafes' recommendations. the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, even bringing us umbrellas when it was raining outside. the private family bath was a wonderful experience with its facilities and a lovely touch.
Although the building is aged, it is currently being upgraded.

Spent Christmas at this traditional hotel and had a great time. the location was perfect for exploring the city, with restaurants and shops within easy reach. the family bath was a real highlight, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. the private bath was also a great option, and we appreciated the cookies and tea provided in the room.
The hotel was quite old and showed its age in some areas. the tatami mats in our room were worn and uncomfortable, and the bedding was not very cozy.

Great value for money! The hotel is located in a lively area, close to restaurants, shops and public transport. The staff is very welcoming and helpful, always ready to give you tips and recommendations. , the traditional tatami room was very spacious and comfortable, with all the expected amenities. Plus, the private family bath was a great perk, perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing.
The building is quite old and some parts are in need of renovations. The tatami mattresses were a bit too thin and worn out, making it less comfortable than other ryokans I have stayed at.
